Food From The Heart is a unique local mission opportunity for a church of any size.

Over the past decade the team at Food From The Heat has prayed, listened and moved to execute a dynamic program that accomplishes what many have tried to do.

Years ago, the focus was doing two and five store food drives, now with the knowledge and focus effort of a few, a Food From The Heart food drive will collect TONS of food per store at 20 – 80 stores at a time. Typically collecting more food than what most food banks can handle.

Food From The Heart is focused on two things right now:

Building strong church partnerships that is ready to make an impact in the church body as well as the community it serves. 

Providing a truly unique local mission opportunity that impacts the lives of everyone that serves and comes in contact with the fruits of that service. Ultimately, leading to people to a deeper relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ.

First Baptist North Spartanburg was the first church in South Carolina to lead it's membership to meeting the community need. That was almost two years ago.

Since then, churches throughout the state and now across the country are learning that there is much more to this church ministry than just collecting food.

"Usually, the first drive makes an impact that is completely unexpected", says Greg Weinstein, the current steward and project coordinator. "I have experienced what happens to a church body dozens of times now. I look forward to the calls or emails that come my way in the days following the drive. It truly energizes the church and it's members. Those not involved feel like they missed something and play not to miss what the church does next.
