Who Are We

Food From The Heart has become a local mission outreach for several churches across the country, taking the stealer of hope and unifying hundreds of people to give back to those who are in need. Through acts of service in faith, we have become a surgical strike team sent out to destroy hunger.
Our primary mission is to provide support to the local Rescue Missions, Outreaches, Food Banks and Soup Kitchens who are already positioned to give a hand up, not a hand out to individuals and families that have fallen on hard times and are in need of a sign of hope.
In our “Training Night” volunteers learn about the need within their community. They are introduced to local groups who are working to meet the needs within their community, many of which are children that are victims of circumstance.
Our army is trained to serve from the heart. Ordinary individuals from 5 to 105 years old collectively afford others an opportunity to help those less fortunate.
We teach and talk about three simple truths…people want to give:
- They do not know what to give.
- They do not know where to give.
- They do not know who to give to.
We share how the Food From The Heart program was born. When we take our eyes off of ourselves and look to serve someone else, even for 3.5 hours, that selfless gift of serving can and does save lives.
We have been blessed through our service and welcome the opportunity to work with you in your community. If you do not see an upcoming food drive planned in your area, click here or the volunteer button above to learn more. |
